I like a good futuristic vampire thriller like the next guy but unfortunately this is not one. The 3D keeps the creatures to cartoony and the bloody deaths are not done practically to give them any real kick. It is funny that Stephen Moyer of True Blood plays a bit part as a farmer fending of the vampire hordes. Paul Bettany seems to be channeling an even more restrained performance then he did in Legion which was a far superior film. Unless you are an ardent fan of Bettany then you have seen all you need to about this film from the trailer. Click here to check out the official website.
