A film that is made for viewing in #IMAX - great effects and set pieces but they don't invoke the sense of realness that was achieved with #TheLordoftheRings - props to Sheehan and Lang on their performances that made the movie for me - several scenes seem lifted straight from other genre films and you will know it when you see them - still a fun popcorn-muncher of a movie but it ain't #Shakespeare #OoH #MortalEngines #2018 #director #ChristianRivers #actor #HeraHimar #RobertSheehan #HugoWeaving #StephenLang #shareAMC #AMCMovieWatcher #AMCStubsAList #AMCTheatres #OpeningNight #OpeningWeekend #ilovemovies #steampunk #fantasy
