Producing a show that creates community, delivers joy and consistently sells out is a responsibility and a pleasure and a great deal of work. For four years, you have trusted us with your Friday night once a month and for that, we are grateful and humbled. We have news: in 2020, DC Weirdo Show will shift away from monthly to three times a year, allowing us to offer more behind-the-scenes support for our weirdo community bringing amazing and exciting new shows into the DC scene. It also allows us to pursue creative goals that are not compatible with producing a monthly show. We wanted to let you know so you can plan accordingly. Our remaining shows for 2019 are next Friday's Netflix and Kill: Queering True Crime *ASL* (on track to sell out so hurry) and Friday November 15: WEIRD AS F*CK, a celebration of your favorite weirdos, doing their weirdest and best, to end our year of shows with a loving celebration of this community of weirdness. We just won Best of Gay DC 2019 and this news may seem... well, weird! When this show was given to us, we knew we would not do it forever and we agreed to it with the end goal in mind: watching our friends' new and weird shows flourish is how a show like this truly lives on.
