Matt Damon and Steven Soderbergh team up to bring us the story of a corporate VP who turns informant on his agri-business and their price-fixing practices around corn. The movie is fun and ridiculous at points just like the informant himself who seems to be somehow off in an American apple pie sorta way filled with tasty lies and half-truths. The movie is linear but has a very stream of consciousness feel as you get the random thought tangents that come from Damon's character. The cast also includes some of my favorite genre actors and entertainers like Scott Bakula aka Harry D'Amour, Clancy Brown aka The Kurgan ,Thomas F. Wilson aka Biff Tannen, and the Smothers Brothers! A worthwhile film and really makes you hope that all corporations really do try to minimize the use of the Peter Principle.
