I have seen many #Lovecraft inspired and themed films but this is the first one that captures the true essence of one of his works. The film is beautiful, horrific, well written and incredibly directed. Of course there are Cage's over the top scene chewing outbursts but it all works wonderfully to serve the story and the ensuing madness. This is a #mustsee for any fan of Lovecraft's work who has been distraught over pass unsatisfying efforts.
